Chaplaincy

The Chapel is at the very centre of the School, built by parents and friends in 1997 and the place where we celebrate Mass and begin many days with Morning Prayer. There are periods of Meditation organised weekly and the Chapel is used as a place of peace and quiet for staff and pupils.

One of the major roles of the chaplaincy is to be a presence in the school and to encourage pupils and staff to know that the Church is here to care for all ‘God’s People’ and to be appreciative / understanding of those times when the practice of our faith is difficult because of the pressures in society and the trauma that life can so easily bring.

The chaplaincy in the school is here to assist the School Community to grow and to work in partnership with all aspects of their life; the mundane or the spectacular through the provision of daily prayer, Form Masses and the opportunity to seek and find God in the routine of school and academic life.
