Students - Year 11
You are now beginning the most important year of your life so far. You will begin to make plans for leaving the school and applying for sixth form colleges, grammar schools, apprenticeships or full time employment.
You will sit mock exams in November, results which will be sent to prospective colleges and employers along with your target grades.
Moving into the spring and summer terms you will have completed all your coursework and your focus will turn to the final exams.
In June the final exams begin. A celebration evening, the Leavers Ball, commemorates the end of your examination period and your St Thomas More journey.
In late August you will receive your GCSE grades and begin your new venture.
