School Day Timings

  • School hours are from 8:40 am until 3:25 pm
  • Students can access the site from 07.45am and can stay on site in the evening until 5pm, if attending after school clubs
  • No student is allowed to leave the school premises without the permission of the Head Teacher or a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • This amounts to a typical week of approx. 35 hours

  • Being on time to lessons is a basic expectation of ALL students
  • Punctuality is a non-negotiable
  • Late to school/form/lessons = 15 minute detention
  • 2 x late to school in a week = SLT detention
  • Any student who is late to a lesson must have a note from an adult to explain their lateness
  • Without a note, the class teacher will sanction poor punctuality
