What do we do?

The Chaplaincy Team is passionately dedicated to illuminating our community, guided by the teachings of Christ and the principles of Catholic Social Teachings. We serve as beacons, inspiring others to embrace the richness of the liturgical calendar and the transformative power of faith. Through diverse fundraising activities, we ensure each endeavour has purpose, shining light on its profound impact in our wider community. We actively seek opportunities to observe and reflect upon our school's prayer life, nurturing our connection with God and fostering spiritual growth.

While we draw inspiration from St. Thomas More's spirit, our focus remains on upholding the values he cherished. Through our service, we carry forward a legacy that embraces compassion, intellectual growth, and spiritual well-being. Our goal is to empower each individual in our community to embody these principles, enriching our school and the world around us.

Our aims

Inspiring faith: We ignite and deepen individuals' faith by providing uplifting guidance and creating opportunities for spiritual growth.

Providing support: We offer compassionate care and a listening ear, supporting those in need to find solace and strength in their journey.

Fostering community: We create a sense of togetherness and belonging through inclusive activities that promote connections and shared spiritual experiences.

“Be the shepherds of the flock of God that is entrusted to you: watch over it, not simply as a duty but gladly, because God wants it; not for sordid money, but because you are eager to do it. Never be a dictator over any group that is put in your charge, but be an example that the whole flock can follow.”
